About the owners of Leash Ladies Pet Sitting Services

Dog walker, Donna Deitz, with her boston terrier, Spooner.

Donna Deitz, lead Leash Lady, and Spooner, her Boston Terrier

Professional pet sitting is my second career but animals have been part of my life since the very beginning. I grew up on a not-quite-farm surrounded by ponies, horses, dogs, cats, chickens and ducks. And my own household (in addition to three energetic boys) has been home to gerbils, guinea pigs, love birds, and our boxer and Boston terrier. So whether it’s walking dogs, playing with cats, cleaning bird cages, or caring for my horse, being involved with animals is what I enjoy. I worked for many years as a medical technologist and ultrasound tech, but in the early 2000's I decided that being around animals again, interacting with people and their pets, and being outdoors was what I enjoyed most. I started with a local pet sitting company and in 2010 I started Leash Ladies and now my son is part owner too. As dog walkers around Newtown, Yardley and Northampton Township, we often get asked about cat sitting. We do that too!

Matt Deitz, dog walker, pet sitting, dog jogging, with his Boston Terrier, Farley

Matt lives in Newtown and is a proud Doggy Dad to Farley, a 2 year old Boston Terrier. He has been a dog walker and doing pet sitting since 2011. As a personal trainer, he's also our go to for dog jogging appointments.  He's always happy to meet new people and contribute to the bond between new clients and their furry/hairy/feathery/scaley accomplices. Call, text, or email Matt anytime and he will be happy to arrange a meet-and-greet with you for dog walking or cat sitting. He provides services in Newtown, Yardley, Northampton and surrounding areas.
